My Grandfather was born and raised in Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada. He probably came to the US when he was about 22 years old.
I haven't been able to locate my Grandfather's Naturalization record yet, but I believe he first arrived in the US about 1901, perhaps in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Grandpa was an accomplished Business College Teacher, Principal, and owner who relocated a number of times within the US and Canada. He was in the following areas: First, in Sheboygan, WI; Minneapolis, MN; Clinton, MO; Scranton, PA; Pottsville, PA; London, Ontario; several locations in Montana; Medicine Hat, Alberta; Vancouver, WA; Spokane, WA; Portland, OR; and finally Camas, Washington.
Thanks!! Tom McMillan

Hi Tom, could you take a look at the Tree I have shared with the group; the link is on the "genealogical Links/Resources" page. It grants guest access to the group tree, or if you are able to find the tree directly as a Ancestry.com member, you should be able to look it over that way also. I need feedback from someone so I know if the link is working correctly. Please check out the records I have added to the group tree for your branch starting with Thomas Ovens (1824-1887). Please let me know if I made any mistakes. Which ancestor was the one who came to the US after having lived in Canada? I have a bunch of census from the Scranton area of Pennsylvania as that is the area my branch immigrated to from Ireland. If you are able to do so, please send me the GEDCOM file for your tree so I can merge it the group tree. If you need help figuring out how to download the GEDCOM file just let me know and I'll help you out. This link provides instruction from on how to download your Ancestry.com GEDCOM file.
